The guidelines have been announced for the 2018 community development block grant program applications, that were released at a public hearing of Henry County Commissioners on Tuesday. There are a variety of program categories, ranging from housing rehabilitation to community infrastructure projects. Henry County will be allowed to submit up to 4 projects, with a total of $150,000 to spend. Most applications will require the projects benefit low to moderate income residents. These applications are due April 9th. The selected projects will likely be announced sometime in May.
