On Monday night, Deshler Council passed the second reading on an ordinance to raise sewer rates by 10% in the village. The new rates would increase the minimum charge to about $21 per month; but keep tap fees at $250.
Deshler Council passed a resolution allowing the village to conduct an online auction for outdated and un-used equipment.
Some new regulations in recycling will be discussed at the next water meeting on February 12th. And the parks committee will talk about some equipment needs at Memorial Field in Deshler, also on February 12th.
