The Liberty Center School Board of education has re-elected John Weaver as their president for 2018, and Neal Carter will again serve as vice president. The board will generally meet the third Monday of each month.
Besides the opening of the new school at Liberty Center, a brand new bus garage and maintenance facility was completed at the end of December. It has two bays to work on busses in the district fleet.
The board approved Mike Weaver as a bus driver, and they have set the time frame for the Liberty Center auction of personal property from the old building. The list ranges from desks and cabinets to chalk boards and other materials. Kigar Realty and Auction will conduct the auction on-line, with bids accepted from January 20th through 28th.
