5th District Congressman Bob Latta has announced a number of local students have been selected for nomination to the U.S. military service academies. Neil Jacqua of Patrick Henry has been nominated for consideration to the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, Maryland.
Stone Zimmerman of Otsego has been nominated for the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
Thomas Tanner of Delta was nominated for the U.S. Air Force Academy.
And Luke Beach of Otsego High School has been nominated for the U.S. Naval Academy.
A nomination does not guarantee acceptance to an academy, that responsibility rests with the admissions office.
