FOUR COUNTY CAREER CENTER LOSING LONG TERM TEACHER

The Four County Career Center will lose over 80 years of experience with the impending retirement of two teachers in the district at the end of the current school year.  The Four County board accepted the retirements of Susan Sweet, English instructor, with 45 years of service; and Ken Cronin, CBI instructor with 40 years.

A contract was approved with an insurance consultant to help provide information on coverage, at a cost under $5,000.

And the Four County Career Center board approved a resolution to set-up a capital projects fund, which will include money transferred from the general fund and permanent improvement fund, to help pay for the replacement of rooftop heating and cooling units in the future.

The Four County Career Center is also hosting their open house for students interested in learning more about career studies.  It will be Monday, January 8th from 5 till 7:30pm.
