The Maumee Valley Planning Organization is working with a couple of local companies on revolving loans to help facilitate expansions. 5-Acre Mill in Hicksville will receive $200,000 for an 8,000 square foot addition to their plant. The expansion will include the addition of 11 employees to their staff of 18. 5-Acre Mill is a manufacturer of hardwood trim components.
And in Fulton County, Commissioners approved a loan of $125,000 for MCS Manufacturing near Lyons. Their expansion will include a 10,000 square foot addition, and the hiring of 6 employees to add to their staff of 10. MCS makes auto components that are part of the production at Tenneco Automotive of Napoleon.
