TWO INJURY ACCIDENTS OVER NEW YEAR'S WEEKEND

The Henry County Sheriff’s office investigated two injury accidents over the New Year’s holiday weekend.  The first occurred Thursday morning on U.S. 24 around 9am, when a trucker from Michigan crashed into a concrete wall in Liberty Township.  27 year old Michael Chevalier of Temperance, Michigan was injured in the collision, with Napoleon Rescue responding to the scene.

 Then on Sunday at 11:08am, 92 year old John Collier of Deshler lost control of his auto along state route 65, crashing into the ditch.  Collier was transported to the Henry County Hospital with injuries, by the South Joint Ambulance District.
