Every county in the region recorded unemployment rates below the state average in November, and all saw their jobless rates fall from October. Fulton County and Williams County led the way at 3.7% unemployment; while Henry County was right behind at 3.8%. Defiance County’s rate dropped from 4.3 to 4% in November. Putnam County was lowest in the region at 3%; but their jobless rate remained unchanged. Wood County checked-in at 3.6%, and Paulding County 3.8.
Around the Buckeye State, Mercer County again led the way with the lowest unemployment at 2.7%; while Monroe County had the highest at 7.2.
