OHIO UNEMPLOYMENT RATE FALLS IN NOVEMBER

The unemployment rate in Ohio dropped from 5.1 to 4.8% in the month of November.  The number of workers without jobs in the Buckeye State last month was 279,000.  That’s down about 17,000 from October figures.   Employment increased in goods-producing industries, mining, and logging.  But there were losses in trade, transportation, education, and health services, along with construction.
