The Defiance County Commissioners have approved their general fund budget for 2018, at just under 14 million dollars. Next year’s spending plan is about $50,000 higher than the current budget.
Commissioners also hosted a public hearing Thursday for the refinancing of bonds for ProMedica Health Care. They are seeking a better interest rate for their 13-story bed care tower at the Toledo Hospital.
