HENRY COUNTY EMA TO RECEIVE MOBILE SATELLITE

When a tornado or ice storm hits northwest Ohio, it can paralyze the information infrastructure.  With that in mind, Henry County EMA director Tracy Busch had an idea, to develop a mobile satellite trailer that could be hauled to emergency locations.   The state liked his idea, and 4 years later, they created that mobile unit.   Only 4 are being deployed in Ohio; and one of those will be regionally situated in Henry County.   Tracy Busch reports the mobile satellite trailer will arrive in Henry County Tuesday.  It will be shared by other jurisdictions in the region, but parked in Henry County, waiting on the next emergency.
