You may think you’re busy this month; but try delivering 15 billion pieces of mail. The U.S. Postal Services shifts into overdrive in December, and are planning on a 10% increase in deliveries.
The weeks of December 11th and 18th will be crazy, and another 7 million customers are expected to send packages on-line.
The deadline for overseas priority and first class mail is December 11th to arrive in time for Christmas.
First class mail including greeting cards should be in the mail by December 19th to arrive on-time. Priority mail express should hit the post office by December 22nd.
