MCCOLLEY SWORN IN AS NEW OHIO SENATOR IN 1ST DIST.

The newest senator in the Buckeye State is Napoleon’s Rob McColley.  McColley was sworn-in to the first senate district seat Tuesday afternoon, replacing Cliff Hite, who stepped down earlier this fall.  McColley’s district covers the cities of Findlay, Defiance, Napoleon and Bryan; along with a lot of agricultural land in between.   The senate district is three times larger than the house district he represented, and has close to 350,000 residents.  McColley was appointed to the senate seat, and will then have to run to keep the position in the May primary next Spring.  Before representing the 81st house district, Rob McColley served as director of economic development in Henry County.
