DEFIANCE WOMAN INJURED IN WEEKEND CRASH IN NAP.

A Defiance woman suffered serious injuries in a crash over the weekend in the city of Napoleon.  The accident occurred just before 7pm Saturday, when 52 year old Friday Evelyn Heffner of Defiance was entering U.S. 24 from the ramp at Industrial Drive.  Heffner lost control of her auto, rolling it over in the median, ejecting the driver.    Friday Evelyn Heffner was transported to the Henry County Hospital by Napoleon Rescue; and then was transferred to a Toledo Hospital by Life Flight.   Her car ended-up in the westbound lane of route 24, causing another accident on that side of the highway.

Napoleon Police investigated that crash, and another involving a car and deer on East Riverview in the city days before.  55 year old Tammy Casarez of Napoleon was injured and transported to the Henry County Hospital.
