Members of the Napoleon School board of education opened their comments at the Wednesday meeting with a ‘thank you’ to voters for their support of a renewal levy on the ballot last week.
The Napoleon Board approved plans for paving of the bus parking lot adjacent to the maintenance garage, with an estimated cost of $600,000. Bids will be going out soon.
There was also personnel action, with the board hiring Rita Cordes as secretary, Terry Weber as custodian, Jamie Rosebrock as bus driver, and Estherlynn Dale as intervention specialist.
Three coaches were added to the swimming staff, including Michael Retcher, Adam Smale, and Tyler Haase.
The Napoleon schools will host their annual kindergarten clinic at the Church of the Nazarene on Appian Avenue April 11th through 13th.
And Elissa Harmon was approved as a new member of the Napoleon Library Board of Trustees, taking over for Edmund Peper.
