The countdown for the Defiance City Schools move into their new high school-junior high building is about 1 month away. Superintendent Mike Strubel reports bleachers are being assembled for the varsity gym, terrazzo flooring is going in the cafeteria, and concrete is being poured for the driveways and approaches for the facility. The official turn-over date is December 22nd; and then a bustle of moving will take place over the Christmas break. That will lead to opening of the new school building for students in January 2018.
