HENRY COUNTY COMMISSIONERS APPROVE MILLAGE REDUCT.

The Henry County Commissioners have approved a reduction in the millage from Countryview Haven, since the facility will be torn down soon.  The estimated reduction is for over 1 million dollars across the county, which will mean a savings of about $43 per resident with a home valuation of $100,000.                                  The Henry County Commissioners met with maintenance director Eric Weller, and the fact more storage space may be needed by occupants of the Hahn Center.           Bill Myers reports the courthouse exterior renovation is complete on the 1880’s historic structure.

                   And bids were awarded on four house demolition projects in Deshler, for structures located on Vine, Elm, East, and Pine Streets.  Panning Excavating was the low bidder on three of the houses, and Gray’s Concrete got the other contract.
