DRUG BUST IN PAULDING, LEADS TO ARREST OF 5

A drug bust Thursday morning in Paulding has led to arrests and the seizure of suspected crystal meth.  The Multi Area Narcotics task force along with deputies from the Paulding County Sheriff’s office executed a search warrant on North Walnut Street in Paulding.   They seized what they believe is crystal methamphetamine, drug paraphanalia, and U.S. currency.  The following subjects were charged with Trafficking Methamphetamines in the presence of a child:    35 year old Scott Haney, and 45 year old William Winkler-both of Paulding, along with 27 year old Minnie Cain of Kunkle.

          Charged with Possession of Methamphetamine was 27 year old Thaddeus Long of Grover Hill and 21 year old Jacob Schaffer of Paulding.   The child was turned over to Job and Family Services and placed with family.     Paulding County Sheriff Jason Landers reports, additional charges in this investigation are likely.
