MORNING TRAFFIC

Napoleon Police are investigating a couple of shoplifting incidents from Thursday in the city.  At 4:44pm yesterday, officers were called to 1815 Scott Street where 29 year old Amanda Ruger of Defiance was charged with Theft.  Ruger was issued a summons to court.

Another theft incident involved alcohol stolen from 734 South Perry Street at 12:51 this morning.   No one has been charged in that complaint.

The highway patrol is looking for the driver of a semi-rig that crashed at 2am this morning on Airport highway in Fulton County.  The truck struck a cement median barrier, and erupted into flames.  The driver fled from the scene on foot, and has not been located.  Delta and Swanton fire departments responded to the scene, and the EPA was contacted about concerns of a spill.  U.S. 20-A was closed at that accident site, but the highway is now open.
