The Henry County Commissioners are working to return some federal dollars to the county, as part of the services provided by the sheriff’s department to the Child Support Enforcement Agency. Those services include serving warrants and summons, transporting offenders to court or jail, and issuing and enforcing protection orders. There is 66% reimbursement available for these costs from federal agencies.
The Henry County Commissioners also went into executive session to discuss matters to be kept confidential with legal consultant Katie Nelson; but no action was taken.
