The Holgate School Board tackled some supplemental contracts, and reviewed the district’s financial forecast during their Monday meeting. The five-year look-ahead for finances indicates Holgate Schools will not see expenditures surpassing revenues until the 2020-21 school year. But Holgate will have some renewal levies in the next year, that could impact that situation, if not approved.
The Holgate Board approved Scott Giesige as the new varsity track coach next spring; and Michael Gilliland was hired as the 8th grade boys basketball coach.
A trip to Chicago for the Spanish class was approved in May 2018, and the cheerleaders trip to Orlando, Florida has be changed to March 21st through 27th.
