The Napoleon School Board has approved an agreement for design of improvements to the bus lot parking area.  That was part of the action at the Wednesday board meeting, as the district is looking for ways to keep premature deterioration of busses from happening.   The plan is to pave the bus lot, with an estimated cost of $300,000 from the permanent improvement fund.  The work would take place in the summer of next year.

The Napoleon School board reviewed the district’s 5-year financial forecast, where spending into the budget reserves is projected for next school year, without passage of the current levy.

In personnel action, Susan Keys and Daniel Burmeister were approved as bus drivers; and Hope Prigge resigned as assistant track coach.

The board awarded the contract for beverage supplier to Pepsi over the next five years.    And some DECCA students were approved for an overnight trip to a leadership conference next month in Omaha, Nebraska.

The Napoleon school board went into executive session to discuss the purchase of land; but no action was taken.
