Arrests and accidents kept law officers rolling over the weekend. Friday at 3:42pm, a crash was investigated on U.S. 6 and road O, east of Napoleon. 37 year old Orion Humberger of Fremont was slowing for a construction zone when he lost control of his semi, rolling it onto its side. Humberger was injured, with Napoleon rescue sent to the scene.
Just after 7pm Friday, the Henry County Sheriff’s office was dispatched to Henry Street in Malinta where 18 year old Ronald Andonian, II of Malinta was charged with Unauthorized use of a Motor Vehicle.
And Sunday at 3:43am, Henry County deputies made an arrest on Second Street in Liberty Center, where 32 year old Jared Mendenhall of Liberty Center was taken into custody. Mendenhall was found to be wanted on a warrant from the state of Florida, and was held at the regional jail over the weekend.
Napoleon Police investigated a theft reported Friday morning at 11:33am, when a book bag with a laptop was stolen. The crime occurred at 248 Patricia Avenue in Napoleon.
And an arrest was made at 1:50am Saturday morning at 619 North Perry Street, where 31 year old Justin Meredith of Michigan was charged with Criminal Trespassing, and Assault. Meredith was transported to CCNO.
