Defiance College and the Northwest Ohio Community Action Commission ‘path center’ are sponsoring a ‘night without a home’ this Thursday, beginning at 4:30pm on the campus at DC. A ‘night without a home’ provides an opportunity to think, discuss and learn about homelessness in northwest Ohio. 17 Defiance College students are helping with the event, with 75 tents set-up on the campus lawn along Clinton Street to represent persons dealing with homelessness in rural northwest Ohio.
A resource tent and soup kitchen will be set-up for the event, and free will donations are being accepted. The activity is open to the public.
