Four more property owners have submitted applications for revitalization in downtown Deshler, as part of the community development block grant program. Henry County Commissioners approved the applications, with renovations totaling nearly $98,000 for those 4 parcels. Grant dollars will pay for half the cost of improvements, and the property owner pays the remainder. So far in the Deshler revitalization, 3 projects are complete, and another 4 are in-progress. There is still money left, if other property owners would like to tap-into the funds. Contact village development director Donnell Parsons at the municipal building.
