Will there be a market for medical marijuana in northwest Ohio? That may be a possibility, after registered nurse Janet Brenneman made a presentation to Defiance County Tuesday night. Brenneman is seeking to have the moratoriam on a medical marijuana dispensary lifted in the city of Defiance. The proposal will be to offer this medicinal product in retail form for patients in Defiance, Williams and Fulton Counties. Defiance Council listened to the request, and have sent it to their city planning commission to discuss this coming Monday. It’s likely a recommendation will then be made to the full council.
