The vehicle title numbers in Henry County for September topped both figures from last year and two years ago. Clerk of Courts Connie Schnitkey reports there were 617 total titles issued last month, up 39 from September 2016. New car titles in Henry County increased from 20 to 24 in the monthly comparison, but new truck titles fell from 17 to 14. The number of RV’s and motorcycle titles tripled in the September report, from 18 to 48. But it was a different story for watercraft, with titles falling from 19 to 9. In Henry County Common Pleas Court, there were 26 new criminal cases filed, down from 29 in September of last year. And there were 11 U.S. passport applications filed in Henry County, a slight decrease from 2016.
