The downtown construction project in Napoleon is rolling-on, and now moving to the sidewalk phase on Perry Street. Concrete walks are going-in around the courthouse, and the next step will be installation of sidewalks in front of businesses. Napoleon Council approved expanded cement aprons in front of downtown restaurants; but fencing is also required to maintain safety from traffic. The city will be installing the fencing; but business owners are picking-up the tab for materials. Restaurants will be providing outdoor seating on their expanded sidewalks.
