There’s been a change in plans for the future of the Countryview Haven facility in Henry County. Commissioners have been discussing the situation, and gathering input from a variety of sources, including nearby residents of the former county home. Henry County Commissioner president Glenn Miller says the auction has been cancelled, after reaction from neighbors in the community. Commissioners believe there is plenty of salvageable material that can be auctioned-off, with any left-over revenues going back to the taxpayers of Henry County. After that, the former Henry County home will be demolished and the property turned into farm ground.
