FULTON COUNTY RECEIVES GRANT FOR FELONS

The Fulton County Commissioners have approved a grant agreement in the Alternatives to Prison program.  Fulton County receives about $220,000 over the next two years, to allow fifth degree felons that normally would be placed in the state prison system, and now will be held at the regional jail.  The crimes cannot be for violence.             Commissioners also approved a contract with a company in Bowling Green to install a new sprinkler system for fire protection at the Fulton County Health Department, at a cost of $81,500.
