There’s another gleaning opportunity in northwest Ohio this Saturday. Volunteers are welcome to join the effort in picking tomatoes beginning Saturday at 2pm, or whenever it works that afternoon. The gleaners are providing fresh produce for local food pantries. The location is the Bockelman farm along road 1; and you can get there by heading east on road 424. Take a left at road 1 and head north, with the field less than a mile down the road. Look for the red pickup, and bring a bucket if you want to bring a few extra home that day.
