The operations department for the city of Napoleon is gearing-up for their annual fall curbside pickup, which runs this coming Monday through Friday, October 2nd through 6th.
Some reminders for the pickup: keep all materials in containers and dry, do not block fire hydrants with material, no containers over 30 gallons or 50 pounds will be collected, all refrigerators and freezers must have doors and contents removed, no liquid waste is allowed, carpet and padding must be rolled and tied, white-ware and tires must have extra Napoleon refuse tags, and no materials can be at the curb more than 5 days ahead of pickup.
Materials should be at the curb by 7am the day of collection.
Zack’s Recycling is accepting computers, printers, and keyboards, which should be placed separate from the regular curbside material.
Computer monitors can be placed with the regular throw-away items. The Napoleon fall pickup will begin on the west side of the city, including Anthony Wayne Acres, Twin Oaks, and Riviera Heights on Monday.
