The Fulton County Commissioners have approved the annexation of a 56-acre parcel into the village of Delta that will bring a new company to the region. Metal Ex, LLC is a 36-million dollar project that will be located in York Township, and bring 81 jobs to the community, and construction of over 75,000 square feet in facilities. A CDBG grant of $425,000 was approved for the project to construct a rail spur. The company will recycle steel, and a number of metals, primarily from North Star Steel. The next step in the approval process moves the annexation request to Delta village council.
