REPORT CARDS FOR HENRY COUNTY SCHOOLS

The Ohio Department of Education has released report cards for local school districts, covering testing from the past year.  All four districts in Henry County received grades of C for Achievement and performance.  In literacy for kindergarten through 3rd grade, Holgate scored highest with a B; while Napoleon, Liberty Center and Patrick Henry received a grade of C.   Patrick Henry and Holgate each received A grades for graduation rates; while Napoleon and Liberty Center hit B.            In the progress category, Napoleon, Holgate and Patrick Henry scored A’s, while Liberty Center had an F.                                   And in spending for classroom instruction, the schools ranged from 66% in the Patrick Henry schools, to a high of 72.6% for Napoleon Area Schools.
