FULTON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO EXTEND SEWER LINE

The Fulton County Commissioners are seeking bids for a sanitary sewer extension that would link the Wauseon city line to the airport system.   The extension would cover about 1.5 miles, and would include 10 customers, including the Fulton County airport.           Bids for this project are due on October 24th, and the construction is expected to wrap-up this year, with an estimated cost of $160,000.

Commissioners announced there would be no increases in the sewer systems for Pettisville and Pleasantview, located in Swan Creek Township.  But residents on the Elmira-Burlington sanitary sewer system would be looking at an 18% increase being passed-on from the village of Archbold..

Dog fees in Fulton County will remain the same, at $20 per dog, or $200 for a permanent license.  Those are available at the county auditor’s office, Ace Hardware in Wauseon, and the dog warden’s office in the North Shoop Avenue plaza in Wauseon.
