All students interested in learning more about attending a military service academy will want to attend an information night being hosted by 5th district Congressman Bob Latta. The event will be next Thursday, September 21st at the Findlay campus of Owens Community College at 7pm. There will be representatives from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the Naval Academy at Annapolis, Maryland; the U.S. Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, the Merchant Marine Academy in New York, and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in Connecticut. Potential candidates may also obtain an application for a service academy nomination at this meeting. Applications for the military service academies are due September 30th.
