The Napoleon Municipal Properties Committee got an update on the downtown street improvement project, which seems to be off and rolling in good shape. So far the project is on-schedule, and likely to be complete sometime in November, which would fit in the 2-month window council had planned for. And after reviewing the issue of safety concerns regarding no sidewalk along Glenwood Avenue between Kennilworth and Bales Road; the Napoleon Council committee has decided to let the situation as it is. They felt there were enough sidewalks on all other sides of the street for safety. If the property owner wanted to place a sidewalk there that was fine; but Napoleon Council is not going to force the issue, since they don’t in other locations.
