NAPOLEON SCHOOL BOARD

Some pay raises and personnel were approved by the Napoleon School Board of Education Wednesday night, at their regular session.  The Administrative staff, teachers, confidential staff, and student aides will all receive pay increases of 2.75% over each of the next three years.

The Napoleon School District renewed their contract with Reiser Realty to market the 9.25 acre parcel that was the site of the West Elementary School.  The listed price for the land is $150,000.

In personnel action, the Napoleon Board hired Erica Griep as high school physical education teacher.  Other new staff members include:  Amber Sonnenberg-EMIS coordinator, Jennifer Imthurn-central office manager, Kristie Parsons-special education aide, and Alyssa Schuette-special education secretary.

The board also accepted the resignation of Lisa Rupp as bus driver.

And assistant varsity coaches were approved, with Jeff Ressler for track, Kaitlin Helberg for volleyball, and Kenny Bostelman for track.

The Napoleon school board went into executive session to discuss compensation of personnel, and for complaints against a public employee, but no action was taken.
