A juvenile is in custody in connection with a threat made against Napoleon Area Schools on Friday, April 19th. On the evening of April 19th, the threat was sent via email to a Napoleon School principal, from a student email; warning of violence toward the school. Napoleon Police were notified, and on Monday the investigation was completed with the arrest of the suspected juvenile Students were not found to be in any actual danger; but Napoleon Police increased their patrols at the school on Monday.
The prosecution of this case is now turned over to the Henry County Juvenile Probation Department.
Napoleon Police and Napoleon Schools report they take all threats seriously, and will continue to pursue prosecution when appropriate.
