The highway patrol is investigating a fatal incident that occurred in Paulding County Wednesday morning. At about 11:20am Wednesday, two commercial vehicles were involved in an injury crash at the intersection of U.S. 127 and Paulding County road 176.One of the drivers, 60 year old Timothy Webber of Dayton, had his rig run into low hanging telephone lines at the intersection. A trailing vehicle, driven by 54 year old Vance Owen Campbell of Wauseon stopped to assist. While Campbell was on top of the Webber truck trying to untangle the lines, he was struck by a telephone line, and suffered fatal injuries. Vance Campbell of Wauseon was pronounced dead at the scene.
