APPLICATIONS FOR ABSENTEE BALLOTS ARRIVING IN MAILBOXES FOR NOV. ELECTION

Residents in Ohio will be receiving information in the mail over the next few weeks dealing with the November general election.Various groups are sending out applications for absentee ballots, which are legal.The board of elections reports you can use those forms to file an application, and drop it off in the 24-7 drop box.If there are corrections to be made, just make them on the application, and sent the information in; and when it is legal to do so, the board of elections will send you an official ballot.Voters can still vote in person at the board of elections on election day- November 3rd.Or they can vote early in person, when that window of opportunity is open in October.Until then, local boards of election remind you to make sure your address is correct, if you have moved recently, or changed your name through marriage.Voter registration is now underway.Another round of applications for absentee voting will be sent out by the Ohio Secretary of State’s Office in September.
