The construction on a new Love’s Travel Center in Napoleon is expected to ramp-up after Napoleon City Council approved plans and specs for improvements to American Road, at a special meeting Monday night.The estimated cost for the upgrade on American Road is 1.7 million dollars, which will include widening the pavement and adding a turn lane for the truck stop.The improvements will cover about 1,600 feet to the intersection of Industrial Drive on American Road.It’s expected some grant dollars will help pay for some of this project, with bids due for the construction by August 20th.The plan is to have the Love’s Travel Center complex in Napoleon done by early spring 2021.
