An early morning vehicle pursuit in Defiance led to an arrest on Monday.Defiance Police report an officer was on-patrol on South Jefferson around 2:30am Monday, when he spotted an erratic driver.The officer turned-around at Greenler Street, and the vehicle followed him, and then that driver intentionally struck the police cruiser with their vehicle.The suspect driver fled from the scene, with the Defiance Police officer in pursuit.The subject was apprehended through a chase intervention technique at South Clinton and Fifth Streets in Defiance.Taken into custody was 65 year old Carole Ysasaga of Defiance.Police report charges are pending in the case.
