With the corona virus a threat on all surfaces, the city of Defiance has announced some changes in their refuse and recycling beginning the week of March 30th.The refuse department in Defiance will only pickup the Mighty Tidy containers, and residents will be allowed one more large bag, or two smaller bags.There will be no charge for the extra bag or two at this time.And there will be no recycling collection during Covid-19, since all items will be taken to the landfill.
