A rural Defiance man was killed in an off-road vehicle crash Sunday afternoon in Defiance County.The Defiance County Sheriff’s office investigated the incident at 3:43pm Sunday in a wooded area along county road 424.Jewell Fire Department and deputies from the sheriff’s office located the accident site near the 9000 block of Adams Ridge Road.The driver of the utility terrain side-by-side vehicle was 67 year old Michael Keber of rural Defiance.Keber apparently rolled the unit over while riding trails in the woods.Michael Keber was pinned beneath the utility vehicle, and was pronounced dead at the scene.A passenger in the side car was not injured.Assisting at the scene were the highway patrol, Defiance County Coroner, Life Flight, along with South Richland and Highland Township fire departments.
