The Central Auditorium in Defiance will get an upgrade after approval by the Defiance City Schools Board of Education Wednesday evening.The board voted to accept the proposal from Fitzenrider, Inc. of Defiance to install central air conditioning in the auditorium, at a cost of close to $277,000.It’s likely the work will begin this summer.
The Defiance School board approved head coaches for the coming year, and approved new teachers, including Jenna Gibson in Spanish, Tana Kappen in Language Arts, and McKayla Jackson in Math.
