A northwest Ohio water developer is trying to zero-in on a new water supply for communities like LibertyCenter, Perrysburg, and Whitehouse.Ed Kidstonowns Artesian of Pioneer, and they have gained Ohio EPA approval for a production well just west of the village of Fayette, to drill for a new water source into the Michindoh Aquifer.Kidston says this is the start of a long process.
The well field they are looking for would likely have to generate at least 15 million gallons of water a day.
A public meeting to share information on the project has been called by the Ohio EPA, and it will be held at the FayetteLocalSchool on March 12th at 6pm.
