It wasn’t by much but the January sales tax revenues are up in Henry County. Auditor Kevin Garringer reports total sales tax receipts this month topped $344,400, for an increase of 1.7% over last year at this time. That’s also believed to be the highest total ever recorded for January in Henry County. Sales tax receipts generally reflect local sales from two to three months before. Last year, Henry County collected over 4.3 million dollars in local sales tax revenue.
