The driver of a fire truck responding to a blaze in Paulding County suffered serious injuries Saturday afternoon. The Auglaize Township fire department was called for mutual aid around 1:15pm Saturday, and 52 year old Blake Dolt of Oakwood was operating the truck when it went out of control. The fire vehicle rolled over, and Dolt suffered injuries. He was transported to Defiance Regional Medical Center by Oakwood EMS, and Blake Dolt was then transferred by air ambulance to Parkview Hospital in Ft. Wayne. The Van Wert Post of the highway patrol investigated the crash.
