The general election for 2018 may still be about 3 weeks away, but hundreds of local residents have already cast their ballots in early voting. In Henry County, 270 residents have voted early and in-person at the board of elections. In Fulton County, that number is 252; and in Defiance County 352 residents have voted early at the board of elections.
Absentee ballots are also being sent-out in droves: 1,041 have been sent in Henry County. The number is over 1,900 in Fulton County, and nearly 1,730 have been sent out in Defiance County.
Henry County reports 14 military ballots have already been returned from outside the area. Board of elections are open each weekday for early voting from 8am till 5pm.
